The Linden Hall Stone Bridge Trail has some rugged terrain and a few steep hills. The walking trails are very scenic, and there is plenty of wildlife in the area. Trails are marked and walkers must share the trails with bicyclists in some areas.
The Great Allegheny Passage rail-trail offers 141 miles of hiking and biking between Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Cumberland, Maryland. Visitors of the trail will pass right through Dawson, Pennsylvania, and have the chance to stay overnight at Linden Hall’s lodge.
